PRIVACY STATEMENT SWING respects the privacy of all its customers (both visitors to the webshop SWING and ensures that the personal information you provide is treated confidentially and securely.  We think it is important that you know exactly what information SWING collects about its customers, for which purposes we use this information and how long we keep this information. In this Privacy Statement we try to describe this in a transparent way. SWING guarantees in any case that your information is collected and used in a careful manner and in accordance with the law




If you place an order, we need your name, e-mail address, delivery address and payment details to process your order and to keep you informed of its progress. We will only use your data to inform you about special offers and promotions with your permission. You consent to this by ticking the box 'Subscription to our newsletter' when placing your order. If you no longer appreciate receiving our newsletter, you can use the unsubscribe option that is included in every newsletter.  We use your data to process orders as quickly and easily as possible. For the rest, we will only use this information with your permission. SWING processes your e-mail address for direct marketing on the basis of its legitimate interest in being able to send you the newsletter. SWING will not sell your personal information to third parties and will only make it available to third parties that are involved in processing your order. Following the amendment of the GDPR (May 2018), this is also laid down in a so-called processor agreement between SWING and the other parties that process data on behalf of SWING. In addition, SWING uses Privacy by design. This means that systems are used that are designed not to record unnecessary customer data.  SWING collects personal data from its customers. SWING will in principle delete or anonymize these personal data no later than one (1) year after the relationship between SWING and the relevant customer has ended. 





If you create an account at, we will store your data on a secure server. In your account we store information such as your name and address, telephone number, e-mail address, delivery and payment details, so that you do not have to enter them with every new order. We only use this information to inform you about your order (s).  You always have access to your account with your login details and can change or supplement your details at any time.




If you respond to a promotion or competition, we will ask for your name, address and e-mail address. We only use this information to announce the prize winner (s) and to measure the response to our marketing campaigns




If you contact SWING's customer service because you have questions or complaints about the services of SWING, the data you have left for this will be stored, together with your question or complaint. In this case, your data will only be used to respond to your question or complaint and will not be actively used by us.




Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you as a data subject have a number of rights. This chapter of the privacy statement states which rights are involved and how you can invoke these rights.



We try to respond to your request as quickly as possible and in any case within one month. However, there is a possibility that we may need more time. If so, we will inform you about this before the end of the month referred to above. The extra time will not exceed two months.

You have the right to submit a request for rectification of incorrect personal data concerning you. If possible, you also have the right to provide additional personal data in order to complete the collection of your personal data.




You have the right to request the deletion of (certain) personal data relating to you (the right to be forgotten). If your request is granted, we will delete the relevant personal data. 




You have the right to submit a request to restrict your personal data. This means that, if the request for restriction is granted, we will not further process your personal data during the period of the restriction unless this is permitted by law. 



You have the right, under certain circumstances, to object to the processing of your personal data, for example if we process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interest. If you object, we will weigh your privacy interests against our business interests. If your interest outweighs, we will not process your personal data further.  If your personal data is used for direct marketing, you can always object to the processing.
